Zuri Atlas was born long before it had a name—it began on the cross-border road trips of my childhood through Uganda and Tanzania with my father, and in the quiet afternoons I spent with my mother at the airport, watching giants take flight. Those early windows into the world turned a simple curiosity into a lifelong mission.

In school, I was the student who lived for Geography—not just as a subject, but as a map to a wider world. That academic foundation eventually met close to a decade of professional experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, in the aviation and media industries. I learned how to build platforms, but I never forgot the feeling of the open road.

Having traversed the globe by air, road, and waterways, I’ve seen the world from every angle. With 21 countries explored—12 of them in Africa—my perspective was permanently shaped by an 18-day expedition from Nairobi to Victoria Falls. I traversed the vastness of Tanzania, took a dip in the shimmering, sapphire waters of Lake Malawi, and crossed into Botswana via the iconic Kazungula waterway.

I created Zuri Atlas Labs as a travel media innovation hub to bring the authentic vibrance of Africa to the world. Through our YouTube animation series (Zuri Atlas), The Wonders of Africa puzzle book series on Amazon, and Zuri Atlas Soundscapes music, we serve ‘Ageless Minds’—because we believe that curiosity has no expiration date.
